I visited Olympic National Park and was blown away by how beautiful and varied the park is. There are three sections to the park, beaches, rainforests, and alpine wilderness.
The Olympic national park beaches are classic pacific northwest. Filled with giant piles of driftwood trees, they feature the classic sea stack rock formations, tide pools filled with Sea anemones, starfish and other sea life and the nearly ever present fog.
Stopped to check out Arches National Park while on a road trip. We didn't have time to explore the trails all the way out to the arches themselves but the road accessible part of the park was still amazing. Both the scale and the color stuck out as breath taking.
We had a pretty big storm come through Brookline tonight. Lucky for me it was coming directly towards my vantage point on the balcony at my apartment. The top photo is the last one I took before the skies opened and I started to worry about my gear getting too wet.
